A FEZ “Vitebsk”-based Belarusian-Czech Business Forum
On October 30, 2019 “Zhurzhevskiy” Business Center became the site for a Belarusian-Czech Business Forum which was attended by an official delegation from the Czech Republic headed by Martin Tlapa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
The Forum was organized by the Administration of FEZ “Vitebsk” and the Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Forum opened with a welcoming address by:

Martin Tlapa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic;

Valery Kurdyukov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Czech Republic;

Tomash Pernitski, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Belarus;

Frantishek Masopust, Chairman of the Board of the CCI for CIS countries.
Mikhail Skurat, Head of Administration of FEZ “Vitebsk” presented the investment potential of the Vitebsk Region to the foreign guests and forum participants.
The event program included a B2B networking session for Belarusian and Czech companies on cooperation in energy, water treatment, construction, agriculture and other spheres.
The official Czech delegation visited one of the FEZ “Vitebsk” residents – “FORTEX – WATER TECHNOLOGIES” JLLC.

Currently, there are two investment projects with Czech capital being implemented in FEZ “Vitebsk”. “FORTEX – WATER TECHNOLOGIES” (manufacturer of water treatment equipment) has been a resident of FEZ “Vitebsk” since December 17, 2004.
“Cylinders-Bel” LLC was registered as a FEZ “Vitebsk” resident on December 28, 2017. The opening ceremony and the launch of the production of seamless steel gas tanks is scheduled for November 5.
