Jacqueline Perkins, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Belarus, Visited FEZ “Vitebsk”
From March 12 till March 13, 2020 Ms. Jacqueline Perkins, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Belarus, was on a two-day visit to the Vitebsk Region which included the Free Economic Zone “Vitebsk”.
During that time the Ambassador visited “Orsha Linen Mill” RUPTE, as well as learned about the activities of “LINPAC Packaging East” FLLC – a FEZ “Vitebsk” resident with British capital.
For reference. There are currently two investment projects being implemented on the territory of FEZ “Vitebsk” with capital from Great Britain: “Vitebskiy Mashinostroitelny Zavod “Novmash” CJSC (oil and gas equipment production) and “LINPAC Packaging East” FLLC (production of packaging from foamed polystyrene).
During the talks in the Administration of FEZ “Vitebsk” the parties discussed ways of further cooperation, including the possibility of a visit by business circles of Great Britain, who may be interested in establishing enterprises and new business contacts in Belarus, to Vitebsk in the near future.
