The Administration Summed Up the Results of the FEZ “Vitebsk” Activity in 2019
On February 14, 2020 a meeting with the owners of the resident companies of the Free Economic Zone “Vitebsk” was held in the “Zhurzhevskiy” business center regarding the results of their economic activity in 2019 and the development prospects in 2020.
The meeting was attended by Alexander Kostyukov, 1st Deputy Chairman of the Economic Committee of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee; Valentin Tsvetkov, 1st Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee; Alexander Tikhonov, Head of the Foreign Economic Relations Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee; the administration of city executive committees and Vitebsk districts.
Mikhail Skurat, Head of Administration of FEZ “Vitebsk” gave a presentation to the members of the meeting on the performance of the residents and the implementation of the key efficiency indicators in 2019, on the main goals for 2020, as well as indicated prospective projects that can be implemented this year.
During the wrap-up session several partners of the Administration of FEZ “Vitebsk” presented their services, such as Irina Makarenko, Director of the Vitebsk Regional Marketing Center; Vladimir Turavinov, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Employers Union; Natalia Vorobyova, Director General of the Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian CCI; Oleg Kondratovich, Manager of ASB Leasing in the Vitebsk Region; Olesya Ryabushko, Managing Partner of the “Legal Position” law office; and Valentina Sharendo, Director of the Vitebsk city archive.
During the meeting the resident companies that managed to achieve high levels of social and economic development by the end of 2019 were honored.
The Best FEZ “Vitebsk” Resident of 2019 award went to Polotsk-Steklovolokno JSC. The winner was presented the appropriate certificate, the challenge banner of FEZ “Vitebsk” as well as the certificate for one of the long-term training programs of IPM Business School.
The Best Exporter of 2019 went to Prodexim FLLC; the Best Investor of 2019 went to CHESS-Bel LLC; the awards For Being Consistent and Reliable went to five resident companies: Foreign Unitary Enterprise VIC-Animal Health, PA Energocomplekt LLC, Natrix JLLC, SOYUZ-CABLE FLLC and Vitebsk Carpet JSC.
