Administration of FEZ “Vitebsk” Attended the Meeting with Sangeeta Bahadur, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to the Republic of Belarus

On May 12, 2021, Mikhail Skurat, Head of Administration of FEZ “Vitebsk” took part in the meeting with Sangeeta Bahadur, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to the Republic of Belarus during her 2-day visit to Vitebsk. The meeting was held in the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

During the meeting, Mikhail Skurat noted that the export of FEZ “Vitebsk” residents to India grew 3 times the volume over the last 3 years. The main exports are glass fiber and linen. There is a promising development in the investment cooperation sphere, since an Indian company expressed their intent to implement and investment project in FEZ “Vitebsk” – production of matchboxes.

The discussion also touched upon other potential vectors of cooperation in the spheres of woodworking and water treatment.
