The Ambassador of the UAE to the Republic of Belarus Visited the Administration of FEZ “Vitebsk”
On February 28, 2023 His Excellency Ibragim Salim Mohammed Al-Musharrah, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Belarus visited the Administration of FEZ “Vitebsk” as part of his visit to the Vitebsk Region.
The topic of discussions during the meeting was the current cooperation between the Republic of Belarus of the United Arab Emirates.
Mikhail Skurat, Head of Administration of FEZ “Vitebsk”, presented the investment opportunities of FEZ “Vitebsk”, described the preferences for the resident companies, explained the terms and conditions to acquire the status of a FEZ “Vitebsk” resident company, provided examples of some of the current resident companies.
In turn, His Excellency expressed interest in further cooperation, particularly in the field of green economy, AI implementation and food security.
The discussion also touched upon the matters of bilateral cooperation between the Free Economic Zone “Vitebsk” and the free economic zones and chambers of commerce and industry of the UAE. The priority of this aspect was mutually agreed upon.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to the Republic of Belarus also visited number of FEZ “Vitebsk” resident companies, such as Orsha Linen Mill RUPTE, Polymerconstruction UE and Polotsk-Steklovolokno JSC.
